Our exclusive Rustic Oatmeal has an interesting cross hatch textured finish on the wooden base, the profile is flat and wide measuring 28mm wide by 16mm deep which makes it appropriate for all the frame sizes we offer and is strong enough for larger frames up to 20"x30", 700x1000mm and A1.
The tones created by the texture gives further interest to the frame and the colour works particularly well with seascapes and landscapes and other natural images. Rustic oatmeal falls into our price band B so is good value, we have other colours in this range, in neutrals and softened brights.
The image and frame be can enhanced by choosing one of our conservation quality mounts which come in a broad spectrum of colours, we have two depths 1.4mm and 2.4mm and we also sell double mounts. We manufacture mounts in a multi aperture format, this facilitates a number of images within one frame, this fashionable look can be achieved by grouping a variety of images and frames together as a gallery wall.
We use high quality float glass and we also offer shatterproof styrene to reduce the weight, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
