Black Cushion is one of our best selling wooden frames due to it's versatility and good value band A price point. The black matt smooth but natural open grain finish is appropriate for art, photography, particularly black and white, etchings and works well as a certificate frame. The style is narrow and though a classic style falls into the new narrow trend at 12mm wide by 11mm deep and can facilitate most of our sizes, accommodating larger images up to 20"x16" 400x500mm and A3.
This frame will flatter any artwork and teaming it up with one of our conservation quality mounts can enhance an image further. We offer these in a wide variety of colours and in two depths, 1.4mm and 2.4mm, as double mounts and we offer a multi aperture version which facilitates the grouping of a number of images within the same frame. An alternative is to create a fashionable gallery wall by grouping a number of images and frames together on a single wall or lining a staircase.
Black is one of our most popular colours; to view other black designs search by colour to see all available frames in a wide variety of widths, depths, textures, patterns and price points. We use high quality float glass and have an option of styrene, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait style. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece as well. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
