401 Oak is one of our most popular profiles in one of our best selling colours, with a realistic Oak veneer, a contemporary finish on its wooden base and it has a softly textured open grain. This natural wood colour works well within all households and compliments most images, including photography, paintings and prints. This wide stylish, modern frame with its 40mm by 17mm profile is excellent value as this substantial frame falls into our C band price point and is an appropriate choice for larger frames. It accommodates sizes up to 20"X30", 700X1000mm and A1 sizes.
401 Oak can be successfully teamed up with our conservation quality mounts which come in a wide spectrum of colours, two depths and are also available as double mounts and multi aperture formats. Multi aperture mounts enable the grouping of a mixture of images within the same frame, alternatively consider creating a gallery wall by displaying a variety of images and frames together in one area.
Oak as a popular colour features in four other ranges, in different depths, widths and price points, to see other options search by natural. This style is available in several other colours including in other neutral colours such as brown, mink, chocolate and honey.
We use high quality float glass, we also offer the alternative option of shatterproof styrene to reduce weight in larger frames, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait orientation. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece as well. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
