Our 235 Ash has a fashionable slim 20mm front to the wooden frame with a deep 33mm side depth which sits proud on the wall giving the image prominence. This is a deeper version of our popular 225 and has a natural bare wood finish. This allows artists to take their artwork onto the frame should they choose to do so. The profile creates a discreet surrounding to images and falls into our price group D and this frame is also available in white and black. Natural ash appears in 225 and 113 frames as well and we have a natural finish in our canvas frame. This style can also be turned into a box frame by adding an inner slip which takes it into our E price band, the slip is a piece of wood that separates the glass and the back of the frame allowing space for three dimensional objects and artwork.
To enhance an image further choose from our conservation quality mounts which come in a broad spectrum of colours, two depths, as double mounts and a multi aperture option in a variety of configurations which allows for the display of a number of images within the same frame. This look can also be achieved by grouping images and frames in a gallery format.
We use high quality float glass particularly important on larger frames but we also offer shatterproof styrene to reduce the weight, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
