225 Slate Blue has a contemporary softly distressed finish on its wooden base frame. The colour has a blue grey finish mixing lighter and darker tones. The frame compliments many images, photography, sea and landscapes, paintings and prints and is suitable for contract framing. This profile is modern and square enhancing pictures without detracting from them. It is excellent value as it features in our B price point and can support larger frames up to 20"X30", 700X1000mm and A1.
Choosing from one of our conservation quality mounts can further enhance pictures. Our mounts are available in two depths as well as double mounts and come in a wide spectrum of colours. We also offer multi aperture mounts which enable the pulling together of a range of images within one frame. This look can also be achieved by mixing up frames and images and grouping them as a gallery wall. We have other blue and grey frames to select from in 225, as well as silver tones, slate blue also appears in three other popular styles, Small Cube, 281 and 401 frames offering alternative widths, depths and price points. This style is available in several other colours.
We use high quality float glass, we also offer the alternative option of shatterproof styrene to reduce weight in larger frames, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
