This Rustic Black frame has a wide flat profile, a substantial frame at a 16mm depth and a 28mm width. Smaller sizes up to 10" by 12" have strut backs so that the frame can be placed on a table as well as hung on the wall, we use cobras (our hanging mechanism) on the hardboard backing which means it is ready to be hung vertically or horizontally. This fashionable choice works well with modern images but equally well with traditional and fashion classic images with textured appearance.

Our Rustic Black frame is a substantial profile with an interesting cross hatch texture on the wooden base giving depth to the black tone. The profile has a flat face viewed from above and has a 28mm width and 16mm depth. This contemporary frame sits in our B price band and is great value complimenting all our sizes and for images up to 20"x30", 700x1000mm and A1.
The finish has a distinctive intensity and as it is tonal it works well with softer black and white photography and with all paintings, prints. Black is one of our most popular colours and features in most of our ranges, representing different widths, depths, textures, finishes and price points. This style is available in other contemporary shades.
An image can be further enhanced by adding one of our conservation quality mounts which come in a broad spectrum of colours, two depths, 1.4mm and 2.4mm and as double mounts. We also manufacture mounts as multi apertures which accommodate a group of images within the same frame. A similar appearance can be achieved by grouping a number of frames together making a feature gallery wall.
We use high quality float glass and we also offer shatterproof styrene to reduce the weight, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
