Our Dark Step Black and Silver frame has a stepped surface, smooth finish and measures 13mm wide and 21mm deep. Sizes up to 10" by 12" have strut backs so you can place on a table as well as hang on the wall.

Dark Step Black/Silver is a stylish and modern wooden frame which is exclusive to us; it has a black outer with a silver step, it works with modern interiors and slim minimalistic trends. This compliments photography especially black and white photos and images, it is also good for paintings and prints. This contemporary silhouette falls into our A band entry level price band, we offer three other options in the step range, one is solid black, one with a black outer and gold step the third has a black top edge with a white step and a white outer edge. Black is one of our most popular colours and features in many of our ranges, to view them search by black, there are different widths, depths, textures, finishes and price points.
We have an alternative black and silver frame called Neo Black Silver in a more substantial profile at 23mm wide by 25mm deep, it falls into a higher price band C but has more detail. This frame is strong enough to take larger pictures up to 20"x16" 400x500mm and A3. The image can be further enhanced by the addition of one of our conservation quality mountboards that are available in two depths, as double mounts and in a wide range of colours.
Our mounts are available as multi apertures enabling the grouping of several images within one frame. This look can also be achieved by pulling together a range of frames and images together on a wall in a gallery display.
We use high quality float glass, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
