Dark Step Black and Gold frame has a stepped surface, smooth finish and measures 13mm wide and 21mm deep. Sizes up to 10" by 12" have strut backs so you can place on a table as well as hang on the wall.

This Dark Step Black/Gold wooden frame has a sophisticated contemporary finish with a clean outer step and a gold coloured inner. The narrowness of the frame echoes the trend in fashionable interiors and is an exclusive profile to us. A stylish frame for photography, paintings, and prints it fits into our entry level band A price point.
There are three other black and black mix options within this range, one is solid black, one with a black outer and silver step the third has a black top edge with a white step and a white outer edge. Black is one of our most popular colours and appears in the majority of our ranges, search by black to view all options in different textures, depths, widths and price points.
Though slim the frame is deep which makes it strong enough to frame pictures up to 20"x16", 400x500mm and A3.
By selecting from one of our conservation quality mounts the image can be given more prominence, these come in two alternate depths, as a double mount and a wide variety of colours. The mounts are also available as multi apertures which enable the display of a mix of images within the same frame.This look can also be achieved by creating a gallery wall by using a number of frames and images and grouping them together.
We use high quality float glass, the alternative of shatterproof styrene, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
