401 Silver is a beautifully finished wide metallic frame on a wooden base which gives a premium appearance to this metallic finish. The brushed effect is elegant and the rich appearance adds depth to this popular wide profile. This stylish frame works well with your images, artwork, photos and is particularly strong with black and white images. This substantial frame is good value for such a large frame which falls into our C price band. The strong profile is wide at 40mm by 17mm deep, therefore it can facilitate image sizes up to 20"X30", 700X1000mm and A1.
To give an image even more of a statement consider selecting one of our conservation quality mounts which are available in a broad spectrum of colours, the mounts are also available in multi aperture formats to accommodate a variety of images or consider creating a gallery wall by pulling together a group of images and frames.
This moulding is offered in an extensive range of colours including other metallic silver shades such as urban silver and pewter. The other metallics include urban gold and champagne. We use high quality float glass, we also offer the alternative option of shatterproof styrene to reduce weight in larger frames, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
