Our popular 401 Black matt smooth wooden frame is particularly appropriate for statement art and photographs. The profile is very wide at 40mm wide by 17mm deep and can facilitate sizes up to 20"X30", 700X1000mm and A1 sizes. This frame as a colour enhances so many images and is an excellent contemporary choice, it is a good option for photography and works well with black and white, photos, etchings, paintings and prints.

We use high quality float glass and also offer the alternative option of shatterproof styrene to reduce weight in larger frames, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait style. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
