This stylish 281 Oak coloured frame in a modern shade has a wide and flat surface making it robust at 28mm wide and 16mm deep, giving any image good impact. Sizes up to 10" by 12" have strut backs so you can place on a table as well as hang on the wall. Whilst being a contemporary frame it works well with fashionable, fashion classic and more traditional images.

281 Oak is a popular profile and is one of our best selling colours and has a realistic Oak veneer finish on the wooden base which has a softly textured open grain. This pale natural wood colour complements contemporary households and works well with most images such as photography, paintings, prints and flatters seascapes and landscapes. This modern frame has a 28mm wide by 16mm deep profile, is great value falling into our price band B and because of it's width works well with all our frame sizes; it is an appropriate choice for our larger frames and can accommodate images up to 20"X30", 700X1000mm and A1 sizes.
281 Oak can be teamed up with one of our conservation quality mounts, these come in a broad variety of colours, in two depths - 1.4mm and 2.4mm, they are also available as double mounts and we manufacture different multi aperture formats which enable the mixing of images within the same frame. Alternatively this look can be achieved by creating a gallery wall by grouping different images and frames together on one wall or along a staircase.
Oak is one of our best selling colours and is available within four other ranges giving a choice of depths, widths and price points, to see other options search by natural. This style is available in several other colours including other neutral colours such as brown, burr, mink, chocolate and honey.
We use high quality float glass, we also offer the alternative option of shatterproof styrene to reduce weight in larger frames, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
