This stylish 281 Grain Black coloured frame in the modern shade has a wide and flat surface making it robust at 28mm wide and 16mm deep giving any image good impact. Sizes up to 10" by 12" have strut backs so you can place on a table as well as hang on the wall. 281 Grain Black is a popular and good value choice; this fashionable open grain finish on the substantial wooden profile is in our price point B and is exclusive to us. Black is a contemporary colour reflecting the trend in fashionable homes for black accessories. This design compliments most images particularly black and white photography, paintings and other modern images it is a popular choice for contract and certificate framing. The profile is wide at 28mm and is 16mm deep, appropriate for all our frame sizes it works well with large images up to the sizes of 20"X30", 700X1000mm and A1.
Adding one of our conservation quality mounts can add impact to an image and we offer our mounts as single mounts in two thicknesses 1.4mm and 2.4mm and as double mounts. These mounts are available in a broad spectrum of colours and we also manufacture mounts as multi apertures enabling the grouping together of a number of images in different arrangements inside one frame. A similar look can be made by creating a fashionable gallery wall by grouping a mixture of images and frames on one wall or lining a staircase.
Black is one of our most popular shades and is available in most of our ranges. We offer two other black designs within this range, 281 Black with it's smooth matt finish and 281 brushed black which has a interesting linear line brush stroke.  Black is available in most of our ranges where we offer different profiles, widths, depths, textures, finishes and price points; to find all available styles search by black. We use high quality float glass, we also offer the alternative option of shatterproof styrene to reduce weight in larger frames, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
