225 Grain Black is a stylish open grain finish and a substantial wooden frame, this falls into our price band B, which makes it great value. This style is a popular choice as it works well with contemporary homes as black is an important accessory colour.
This colour and frame work well with most images from black and white photography, paintings and other modern images it is a popular choice for contract framing. The profile is a flat cube like shape which measures 20mm wide by 24mm deep is able to frame large images up to the sizes of 20"X30", 700X1000mm and A1.
By adding one of our conservation quality mounts you can create real impact to any image and we offer our mounts as single and double mounts and they are available in two different thicknesses. Our mounts come in a wide range of colours and we also offer mounts in a multi aperture format which enables the bringing together of a number of images in different arrangements within the one frame. A gallery wall can be created to give a similar feeling by combining different images and frames and grouping them on one wall space. Black is available in most ranges and we have two other black styles within this range, 225 Black which has a smooth finish and 225 brushed black which has a interesting parallel line brush stroke effect. We use high quality float glass, we also offer the alternative option of shatterproof styrene to reduce weight in larger frames, a substantial hardboard with the attribute of being able to hang on the wall either in landscape or portrait. Smaller sizes have strut backs enabling them to be stood on a table or mantelpiece. For protection each frame has cardboard corners and is shrink wrapped to keep clean and dust free.
